Established in 2017 by brothers Tom & Alex, Thomas Alexander Homes offers beautiful living in attractive settings. The business has quickly become renowned for building sustainable homes that are suited to the dynamics of modern life and that blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings in which they are located.

Managing Director

Alex is an ex-serviceman who served in the Royal Navy before establishing Thomas Alexander Homes. With an incredible eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to creating beautiful living spaces in stunning settings, Alex is the driving force behind Thomas Alexander’s day-to-day operations.

Tom Blease

Project Director

Tom has more than 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, having started his own business at just 19! Tom’s extensive building expertise has enabled Thomas Alexander to deliver top-class residential homes across Yorkshire, earning the company a reputation as one of the county’s leading developers.

Gemma Bateman

Head of Sales & Marketing

A business management specialist, Gemma has gathered valuable experience in both the estate agency and housing developer industries, joining from one of the UK’s largest PLCs. At Thomas Alexander, Gemma ensures our sales and marketing functions operate efficiently with an industry-leading customer experience.

Joe Priestley

Commercial Director

Thomas Alexander’s Commercial Director, Joe, has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, having previously held important roles at a number of regional house builders and construction organisations, both in the UK and overseas. Today, Joe is focused on developing our commercial team and processes to facilitate business growth.

Harvey Bateman

Head of Land & Planning

Harvey, our Head of Land and Planning, has specialised in new homes since 2018 and has held a number of senior positions across several large PLCs. At Thomas Alexander Homes, Harvey is responsible for overseeing land acquisition, feasibility studies, planning and development to help successfully deliver our new communities.

Dave Witney

Technical Director

Dave Witney leads Thomas Alexander Homes’ Technical Team, efficiently delivering high-quality, sustainable modern homes by overseeing all aspects of design management, planning, compliance and more. Having worked for some of the largest housebuilders in the country, Dave is also responsible for managing external consultants and liaising with our stakeholders.

Steven Lister

Construction Director

Boasting nearly 40 years of experience in the property sector, Construction Director Steven Lister leads Thomas Alexander Homes’ Construction Team, where he ensures all our homes are delivered on schedule, drives exceptional quality across all aspects of the construction process and continuously develops talent within the team.
